Unable to get into system admin module

I seem to have lost the access to SYSTEM ADMIN MODULE!
When I enter the admin menu all modules show except the SYSTEM ADMIN. I now have no control of input, blocks, group, etc.
Is there a way to get the SYSTEM ADMIN back in the menu?

I can't believe no one has a clue on how to repair this?

what happens when you try to access the admin script for the system module directly?
