quick question (prob a bit stupid)

right i've built a website and I want to use the XOOPS mylinks module in an iframe.

my question is how do i do this without having the surrounding menus etc appearing in the iframe as well which will throw out the design of my website.

Hey, I'm no pro, but there's probably two ways you could do it.

1) Go into the admin area of your XOOPS installation, go to Blocks, and choose "Visible -- No" for all the extra stuff. That should make them disappear.

2) Edit the theme.html file to ignore left blocks and right blocks. Not sure what that will do, it might blow up, but it's worth a shot.

Why run the mylinks module in a iframe when it can be configured on its own to show where ever you want.

You will need to explain more your philosophy for doing so. I don't get it and can't see a way to do it anyway.

The only thing I can think of is that the rest of his website isn't run by XOOPS...

thats exactly it the rest of the site is static html cos thats all it needs to be but i need to use mylinks thanks for the suggestions ill try em out and let ya know how i get on
