Sorry, but i am a XOOPS newbie... I have made a custom block with some links. I want those links to work just like when you click the forum link. I mean, if i for example have a link to an image, then i want that image to show up in the middle of my other blocks, in other words, i dont want to leave my site. Bah! I hope you understand. How should my custom blocks links look like?

the following can be added to a custom blockand it will be styles the same as main menu:

add all the links you want, but they will need to link to a document genereated by xoops. also check out multi menu module and go to XOOPS document site for info on wrapping html: http://wiki.xoops.org/wakka.php?wakka=XoopsStaticContent

I think the secret here is to use IFRAME to open the link so it opens in the same page.

Here is a code snipit from the most Excelent Fun Games module by: Brian Ferris

<IFRAME SRC="http://www.freegaming.de/webmastercontent/fungames.php" WIDTH=600 HEIGHT=700 TITLE="FunGames Collection">IFRAME>

This opens a games web site in the the block.

I've no idea whether this is helpful or not, but I believe the trick to stopping links leaving your site is to use the _parent or _blank attributes when setting the parameters of the link? So http://www.blah "target=parent" will (I think) open it in your main central block. "target=blank" will open a new instance of your browser, in other words, IE or Mozilla will open and load the page for you, leaving your site open in another instance of your browser?

I'm sure the experts will clarify this, but I just thought I'd mention it.
