theme.html will not show changes made

I made changes to a theme.html file and saved it in the correct theme folder. The problem is that the changes do not ever appear. I even deleted the theme.html file completely and it still didn't change. Am I missing something?

use the search function to search for your answer.. that's what it's there for..

it also tells u in the docs in the left menu on this site.. lol

but to answer ur question.. either clear templates_c folder or goto admin > system > general setting & then select yes to update templates & themes in the relevant part.
