Making the forums flat by default

I have been trying to find out if i can make the forums default to a flat layout.

I have seen the button within the forum to do it but i want to have it permanant.

Any ideas on how i do this?

Depending on which version of newbb you are using there will be a several places to do this. If your using the original newbb you will have to select flat in the prefrences and flat in your profile. If you use newbb rc2 you can select it in the module settings itself.
