Hey Xoop Users,
I installed XOOPS on my website after testing PHPNuke, PostNuke and so on, and so far, XOOPS seems to fit the needs of the website. However, whenever I create a News article and selected it to be on the home page also (radio button has the option.)

So after creating the article, nothing is on the homepage, http://www.tacticalxboxgamers.com/.

However http://www.tacticalxboxgamers.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1 shows that the news article is there.

Believing that I made the error, I created a test article and alas, it happened again. No article on the homepage.

Is this a XOOP's error or is there just a step I am missing?

Thanks.

Re:News Error on Home

If you want the news articles to display on your homepage, you'll need to set the news module as your startup module in System -> Preferences -> General Settings.

Alright another question (no need to make a new topic eh .) How would you list all of the links under the main nav ( http://www.tacticalxboxgamers.com ). When a user isn't sign in, only Home and News are listed.

To fix this, is there an option or do I have to edit a file?

Re:News Error on Home

certainly. Go to System -> Groups, and give the anonymous group module access rights on all the modules you want them to see
