NewBB 2

Hi everyone,
Just upgraded my New BB from version 1 to version 2.0RC2 and have a question. On the front page of the BB there are two typos (the word Inactive is spelt wrong twice).
What file do I need to edit to change this? Have done a find in file for this but cannot find the damned thing!
If anyone can help I'd be most grateful.

How exactly is it misspelled? I can't search for it without knowing that.

Tis spelt Inactiv rather than Inactive.

I couldn't find "Inactiv" anywhere. Can you provide a URL that illustrates the problem

It might be necessary to dig into the code to see what's causing that.

I'm kinda new at this.. and have an older version of newbb...but when I wanted to change the text of my forum where I see Inactive spelled wrong..to edit the text i went to my Xoops/modules/newbb/language/english/main.php file... opened it and changed these lines//
define("_MD_NEWPOSTS","New posts");
define("_MD_NONEWPOSTS","No new posts");//

****Inactiv forum with New posts and Inactiv forum with No New Posts are probably right underneath these lines in the //index.php section near the top of the file****

If the spelling is incorrect there.. changing it to Inactive should solve your problem.

Oops, I was searching RC1, not RC2. Here it is:

language/english/main.php:

define('_MD_PRIVATEFORUM','Inactiv Forum');
define('_MD_PRIVATEFORUM_NEWPOSTS','Inactiv forum with new posts');
define('_MD_PRIVATEFORUM_NONEWPOSTS','Inactiv forum without new posts');

Muchas gracias - now all I have to do is find out how to make my board readable by all.At the moment u have to log in to even see it - I think I changed all the Anonymous settings but sthg ain't right....

Here are some more bad spellings:

define("_MD_REPORT_EORROR", "Eorror occured while sending the report.");
define('_MD_ERROROCCURED','An Error Occured');
define('_MD_ERROROCCURED','An Error Occured');
define('_MD_ERROR_UPATEATTACHMENT','Error occur when updating attachment');

The last one is just bad grammar
