Why XOOSP don't use $SERVER['DOCUEMNT_ROOT'] for the XOOPS_ROOT_PATH variable for portable configutation ?

Some server softwares like IIS does not have this variable set by default. You can, though, set it in php.ini, if I remember correctly (sorry I do not use IIS myself).

IIS may have value different from what apache has.
