I've got some question about GNU Licence and using XOOPS. So:
Can I use XOOPS in commerce sphere? Can I do my firm pages in XOOPS? I KNOW THAT I CAN'T GET ANY MONEY. I mean - is possible to use XOOPS in commerce sphere?(Is possible to do firm pages in XOOPS?)

You can use XOOPS for anything you like - there are no restrictions for what you use XOOPS for on your own site.

You can make money with GPL. It's just that you would need to make the source open when requested, if you have hacked any and publicized it.

Right, so when I make module I, or firm can sell it... if I understand. Wow!

What Kazu means with 'you can make money with open source' is that you can sell your added value: the services you can provide to the client. For instance, development (of a module), support, customisation, design, implemntation, documentation, training, etc. Selling open source code with restrictions isn't allowed (the selling part is, the restrictions aren't), selling your services is recommended and stimulated
