I'm new to XOOPS after after being with php-nuke and need to know how to put images in? What link do I need to use?

There is an "image manage" in the sys admin panel. Many of the available modules take advantage of this functionality.

There are also modules designed to display images based on certain categories, or even modules that use thier own image managers.

What exactly do you want to do with the images?

Where it says 'Forthcoming mixes' there should be a image. I used this code

the url has to point to an actual image.

http://vinyljunkieuk.com/djs/comingup.gif does not.

Is it because its in a block or shouldn't it matter?

That doesn't matter. Make sure you type the URL correctly.
