Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for fixing this! I spent a week trying to find some other webmail solution.

bbgds

BTW - Any thought on turning this into more than a popmail browser? Wouldn't it be cool if this could be built up into a webmail application that could let users create their own webmail accounts under your domain name? Just a thought. You may already be going that direction with it.

Bassman: Here's the steps I did:
-I installed the zen project as a standalone. Got it working.
-Went into your module and literally copied over your config.php in/config with the one from standealone zen.
-This gets past the login issue but crashs with a sessions problem.

Regarding the PHP Notices; yes, the module still needs a lot of housecleaning.

bbgds: Yes, that ideia has been on my mind

I am using your index.php file. The only change I made was to make sure that your config file matched the one that's working from the standalone zen. I did this to rule out the possibility of a misconfiguration inside the config file.

Hello All!
Concerning Bassman:
I yesterday switched off my site and ran, for testing WebMailFX and the whole website in php debug mode. I didn't get any php warning. Are you using the last, code cleaned, version (0.82)? Just uninstall the old one, install this and let us know!
BTW: send me your e-mail adddress, I'll include you in the php file notice.
Other stuff:
-the file is now also among downloads in xoops.org: cool!
-kaotik: any further development? Do you have a 0.83 (testing as we sayd) to download and test?
Have you looked at the new notice in all php, with license, credits and so on? What do you think?
Cheers,
ft

I'm having a crash problem now too.

Fatal error: Unable to connect to database in /home/christ/public_html/class/database/databasefactory.php on line 34

Is that the same error you got Kaotik?

Also, I noticed that when you go into the admin menu to make chages, it will go through the normal process, but none of the changes will actually take. You get the "Database Updated" screen, but when you re-access the admin menu, you get the default settings.

Guys, I'm getting confused.
What are we talkin' about?
ProjectZen or WebMailFX?
Could you please clarify this?
And, perhaps, could we split the thread into two different?
Otherwise I (and perhaps others) couldn't get any sense in this...
Cheers,
ft

Just to clarify, the error wasn't WebMail's fault, it was my webhost's.

Sorry if I contributed to any confusion, Flyingtux.

PS - Kaotik, I seem to remember Draven and Tom knowing of a webmail application where users can create new accounts, etc. May save you some time, should you decide to go that way

Of course I'm not going to push anybody to do what he dislike... If somebody would like to work on such a feature and it'll work: welcome!
But, to my mind, it would be better to focus on some more "core" functions like:
-support for multiple SMTP;
-support for IMAP 4 protocol.
Take care,
ft
P.S:
"Sorry if I contributed to any confusion, Flyingtux."
There's absolutely no problem, bbgds... I just got confused and I asked to claryfy just because I wanted to understand the problem!
