Not that it is a crime to cross post but it makes things cluttered and can make answers and half answers scattered.
Here's another tip, when you've "managed to fix it myself" we like to have include what it was that fixed the problem. This way others with the same problem might stumble on the answer here and not ask it again, or ask it again several times...
Nobody gets upset if the answer seems silly or trivial. Many others will have the same problem. It is always sillier if a question is asked and no answer is given except that an answer was found and not mentioned...
Searches have more value too.
