How can I do it? Currently the Categories are flat (Only one layer).

I need an extra layer of "Categories".

For example

I have several Categories: Apartments, Office and Shopping Centers. Under Apartment, I need Different States, California, New York.... Under each States, I need the Same kind of Forums title.

NewBB2 allows subcategories exactly as you are describing. It will be entering beta 4 status soon. Keep an eye out here for the release date.

I want to try out NewBB2 in my test site. But when I get to dev.xoops.org, and tried to download, it says no file.

what give?

newBB 2 has subforums, not subcategories.

It looks like someone is in the process of updating the download. I don't know why the old version was removed first.

The old files was removed because of an codesnippet in the javascript, which is under copyright.

The newbb is under GPL so this clashed, the code is replaced now with our own code, it was just a mistake, that this code was included in the Beta 3. Sorry for that, that happens when you have to sync Local site, Testsite and CVS

I´m working tonight to release the Beta 4, maybe tomorrow morning.
