Anyone ever seen a site with a high or higher amount of visitor each day?

Like:

800+ guests online
800+ Member online
200000+ Register Members

If you seen something like this can you post the website and tell me the site stats.

Note: The numbers above are truely real.

http://www.naturofan.com

That the site. Crazy fan site.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Fan-sites? CMS-based sites? CMS-like sites?

Slashdot I'm willing to bet has no problem beating those numbers. Bluesnews, Anandtech, Ars, Sourceforge all get a bazillion hits.

Some sites are sub-sites to a much larger network that all have something in common. There are of course the Warcry sites, Gamespy or the Vault network which each have a bazillion people on them all the time, all of which have computer games as their commonality for the sub-sites.

Well, I can't post stats, but one site I know that's really popular is http://forums.devshed.com/. I'm a member there and frequent it quite often.

At the time of this post.....

Not quite the figures you're posting, but pretty impressive non-the-less.

That is one hell of a lot of visitors I wonder have they rigged the “who is online” module.

Since I'm not an Administrator of that site, I cannot say with 100% certainty that those figures are accurate. However, I have been a regular visitor to those forums and the parent site, http://www.devshed.com/, for over two years, as it is one of the resources I have used numerous times. During the time I have been visiting those sites, I’ve witnessed a consistent amount of growth and activity that could not be artificial.

If you’ve never spent any time visiting the DevShed, I highly recommend it. There’s an abundance of information there that would take months to find on Google alone. That is, if you keep skipping the DevShed links.

You’re such a cynic.
