Admin to poll gives admin to forum??

Hi, I have a 2.0.6 site and I want to give a group admin rights to create polls, when I do this they also get admin rights to the forum eg, edit and delete buttons on all posts. Is this the way it should be or do I have something wrong??

Exactly the same issue that I just ran across today and was going to post a question regarding.

Another question I have regarding Polls: Registered Users have an Administration button in their User Menu block which takes them to the Admin Control Panel where there is the Poll button is visable. Here it allows the users to create, delete, etc. Polls. Is this the only to allow Registered Users to create Polls?

Is it normal for users who have admin permissions on polls to also have admin permissions on forum posts without the webmaster giving it to them??

If it is normal how do I go about giving admin permissions to polls but not to forum posts??
