Hi, I've just installed XOOPS on a new website I'm bringing up. I modified Pale Rider's Pale Gold theme. The only thing that is happening that I can't see where to control is the footer.

In the footer, I have a "powered by XOOPS 2.0" etc. While I really like the software thus far, the demographic I'm building this for would find it distracting.

I've searched all the files, but can't find the "powered by" phrase in any of them.

What am I missing???

the footer can also be an image..... look in your image subfolder.
(although XOOPS is under an open source license it is always kind to leave information XOOPS in the footer :))

I agree, and I'll probably leave it in.

However, it bothers me that I can't find the source of the text. Here's the site: www.uhighlives.org

You'll see it at the bottom; if you look at the source, you'll see that it's text. However, it's not in any file that I can find (using grep to search the files).

Any ideas?

Administration -> Preferences -> Meta Tags and Footer

Or, just delete $xoops_footer variable from theme.html and add your code.
