One of advantages of having a little used website is you can watch your server logs while playing with XOOPS. I recently created a site for one of my non-profits and noticed that the "Who's Online" block was displaying erroneous (in my opinion) information. I correctly showed me logged in, but also said that two users that had not accessed the site in over 24 hours were also logged in. Additionally, it showed 5 guests as being active as well.

Where is XOOPS getting this information? Why does it seems so sluggish in updating it?

I read somewhere that the who's online block doesn't update every time someone logs in, maybe every 7-10th person or something like that. It was something to do with a garbage collection routine (I think).
