Looking for a JavaScript Guru for colab

I have adapted what I think is a real nice spellchecker to Xoops. I have it up and working fine. The problem is that I can't seem to contain it in the module directory, but have to put it in a specific directory off the root of the web server.

I know this is due to the JavaScript and PHP code containing some hard coded links. I lack the skill to fix this, and after 12 hours I give up. It works for me.

I would like to release it, but want to resolve this first.

Anyone want to help?

wow, someone help this guy! That sounds like a great feature! Does it affect speed at all though?

if you take a look at the Xoopstools module, all the "tools" are done with javascript - it may help you do what you want.

Each js script is called like this:

I will take a look at the Xoopstool...

As regards speed, excepting a little extra code to load where the block is shown, there should be no degradation. There is definetly no DB impact. The only thing I can think of is aspells processor usage, which should not be much.

BTW - This module requires aspell and php compiled with aspell support. This was no issue for me, on my Gentoo Linux box. But your mileage may vary.
