Strange,,,I'm guessing your are at the admin area.

It could mean that php is snooping up memory (maybe another heavy php appl. is using to much of memory resources)
an other option is, standard php is limited (default) in recieving files greater than 8MB.

I don't know if you have root access to your server, but try to modify your php.ini.
Find the line:
memory_limit(increase this value to for example 16)

and/or

post_max_size(increase this value to for example 16)

Make sure you'll restart the webserver!

goodluck

What version are you exactly running? In v2.0.7 there were a couple of fixed made, so if you got still an old version please upgrade.

I don't think it's a question of 'just upgrade'. I can't remember there was a bug fix related to this problem.

I know I've had the same problem with Typo3. After altering the php.ini the problem was solved. But now I don't have a clue. Maybe he should upgrade, but it's better to isolate the problem. Don't you think so?

Yes, I'm with the latest version. The lastest was released on 6/15/2004 so I know I did have that version updated.

i got the same problem, have had it right thru 2.0.5 to present 2.0.7

ever since members go above 150 on my site it happens..

it's definitely to do with settings in php.ini but i don't have access to increase memory etc..

have never seen a fix for this particular error.. altho there were fixes for the groups and users settings..

i just learned to deal with it and work round it, by editing that info via phpmyadmin directly into the database itself.. more hassle, but it gets round it..

Since you guys can't figure what cause the error posted. Would you please direct me how to do by editing certain file? I mean how do I change from sendmail to phpmailer by editing some file instead of going to admin panel. I'm pretty sure there's a backdoor way of doing it. Thanks :)
