Internal error: unable to connect to database

Get this error when loading a page (not everytime):

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 34

I'm almost sure that MySQL server work, and settings are OK.
It worked fine for a month with same modules as today and now get this error. The only change I made is upgrade to 2.0.7.1.
Someone can help me?

I guess you are using the database server from localhost,..replace localhost with 127.0.0.1 in your mainfile.php.
I always get the same problem on my server when I'm using localhost. Changing it to 127.0.0.1 solves my problem..

good luck

Re: Internal error: unable to connect to database

I'm using XOOPS on a remote server, not my computer.
Setting to 127.0.0.1 doesn't solve problem.

Have you tried re-starting MySQL?
