I think that it will be very nice someday to add permission in the group section for sending private messages.

As far as I see all someone need to do is to add a little in
pmlite.php at line 50 :
" if ($xoopsUser) { " +
"$groups = $xoopsUser->getGroups();
.......
if ($gperm_handler->checkRight($perm_name, $perm_itemid, $groups, $module_id))
....."

The situation you would like to have such feauture is when you want registered users to see news, post in forums but don't want untrustworthy ones to register for the only purpose to spam.

I need this in my work now when creating something like LCMS module (Learning CMS) for distant learning and when some registered unknown students insult with private messages teachers...
