RADIO IV, New artist Radio website, designed with XOOPS! Had to chop up some of the php pages from SAM2 broadcaster, used iframes to integrate them into XOOPS! check it out, http://www.RADIOIV.com

Looks good but two things:

1) You might want to get rid of the big blank space area at the bottom. Looks like you might have hit the Enter key in dreamweaver a few times by accident and made a bunch of

or
codes.

2) The flash thing on the homepage links to the homepage. Why is that?


I'm actually working on doing a local version of something like this, and I know it's hard to get going and keep it going. Hope yours works out for you.

AH! The music people of XOOPS have agreed. It is a good site. Now we must have Monty take a look.

RADIO IV is still very new. The flash portion is an advertisement. Site content is going to change, as well as the forums, I added phpbb because I was trying to do an integration to a rating/voting system which required it, but couldnt get it to work. While im on that subject, does anyone know how I can implement a ration/voting system for songs from new artists?

The flash thing is just a little odd because it's right there in the middle of the page like that, and links back to the page that it's on. Usually when someone does that, it links to another page within the site.

The rating part...are they actually sending the files up to you, or are you wanting to hotlink them? wfdownloads might work for you.

Bands/Artists send me their info (mp3's,presskits, etc...), which I keep on "My" local server, not the hosts. I am looking for a way that visitors can "vote" on artists/songs, including what is currently playing. As far as the flash, YEa, I agree... it should be linking to something else. Now that you mention it, I am linking it to my sites contact form.
