Hi,

I'm a brand new XOOPS user. Our new server offered an install of XOOPS and I wanted to try it out. I am completely unfamiliar with CMS's. I am attempting to install Newbb2, but when I did, the forum link on the main page came back with just error.

Here's what I did:

Unpacked newbb2 and uploaded the module into the modules newbb directory, overwriting the files.
Uploaded and overwrote the other directories that were packed in with the newbb2 download.

I'm sure there is an easy explanation for this, and I appreciate your help in advance. I run a large forum site and we needed to move to our new server soon. I'm trying to get everything ready, and at the same time, wondering if I should just hack out newbb and wait for the final release of newbb2.

(I won't mention I'm also trying to import users. sigh...)

I do love XOOPS though, and can't wait to roll it out to our members.

Do not use the current newbb2 files at dev.xoops.org before a fresh version is released, which is expected in days
