Can't create Admin account!

Xoops is installed on my site, although during the installation it claimed that it could not create the tables (error message: Unable to make xoops_groups)

No problem I thought, as all the other important info was submitted and the tables I had set up in previously anyway. But no, it had not set up an admin account!

Does anyone know how I could set up an admin account manually, or indeed how I could get the installer to complete properly?

Please help, this has become a big headache (I thought this was meant to be easy?

Hi,

Welcome to Xoops.
Do you know what is phpmyadmin ?
Have you installed it ?
Could you verify that your database really contains xoops's tables ?

Note, if yuo have just installed Xoops, the best thing, may be, will be to clean all and to reinstall it.

Surely I will encounter the same problem with the installation. Does anyone have any idea why XOOPS returns this error message?

Obviously I do have the database name / password / user correct etc..

Can anyone help? Or shall I just install Nuke instead?
