i had a look at the template and it does not add any space, so that is okay. i may have already asked, but what theme are you using?

When I save your page locally using Mozilla 1.7, lots of
tags appear right where that white space is. Any chance that you have some weird linefeed characters in your original source?

Like in
<div id="content">
          <center>
<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><table width="10%">

's arent there when I edit the content in TinyContent. I wonder how I would get rid of them...

theme is fine, so you need to find source of those breaks. very odd.

Well, I guess I should've looked more carefully at the first code you posted, because the answer is right there
You can't have
s between a and a . Deleting them seems to solve it.

apart from the table width being 10%, which seems odd, never even looked at the sructure.
