I don't think there's a "Confession" module available... but there may be others you can use for the same task.

What does it need to be able to do, so we can advise you better?

what in the world is a confession module, lol, I had no idea there could be virtual priests that could liberate you from your sins, I'm sorry it's just that a confession module sounded too funny to me , I have never seen something like this

P.S. hmmm..maybe it's something strange going on lately, a couple of days ago I heard of a cookie hack for a pool module, gosh this is looking more like sim city each day.

I would use XOOPS built-in private messaging (PM). Users can confess in private and you can respond in private.

In case it helps, you can get a free, instant ordination as a minister at the Universal Life Church.

I think I know.... I think he might be talking about those sites that have the anonymous confessions, like http://www.dailyconfession.com/

There are a lot of different ones out there, it's a pretty popular feature-type-thing. It probably wouldn't be too hard to hack an existing module, but that might even be over doing it - all you would need to have is a form and output the text on the site.

These things are entertaining though

Looking at that site, you could use a Blog module and set up categories perhaps? People can post comments.

Although, an auto-penance feature would be nice?...

if ($sin == "mortal") {
$penance "Purgatory"
}

Haha that's great

I really really need to get un-lazy and learn php (the trouble for me is migrating from Java), because a confessions module with an auto-penance feature would be hilarious.

Almost any module with user input and display could be used, even 'members' could use this as usernames are pretty meaningless in terms of identity. The real problem comes with IP tracking, unless users utilise proxies or cloaking service. This is more complicated for the averge user.
