I transferred my XOOPS site to a different server. Both servers are local. The older one was running XP Professional and the new one is running Windows 7.

I'm using SMTP for email with authentication and Google mail. I have the XOOPS PHPMailer installed. Email worked fine on the XP system but it doesn't on Windows 7. I get the error:

I have the same problem (remote host) but have never tried using SMTP through XOOPS so don't know if it's Windows 7, XOOPS or me...
