All the icons for the control panel are missing from
Avatars, banner, blocks, comments, groups... through users.
The only 2 icons that are showing up are system configuration and help.

Yes I did all the above but this did not go well. What is the best way to do a fresh install using the existing database. I can do this locally and then upload the files to the hosted site

If there is a better way, please provide detailed information or reference. Thank you

After I upgraded to 2.5.6, I lost all the icons in the administration menu. Please how do I restore it without having to rebuild the site.

If I have to rebuild the site what will be the preferred steps.
