Hello,

I had a 20+ year old VM running Xoops 2.0.18 which was deleted by the hosting provider due to an unsupported OS (CentOS 5). Now I have a new VM running AlmaLinux 9.

I'm asking for advice to migrate from 2.018 to 2.5.11. Should i first install/migrate 2.0.18 to the new VM and then upgrade TO 2.5.11, or install 2.5.11 first? Does the database need to be upgraded as well?

Thanks

Now I have uploaded quite a lot pictures and found a severe prob for me! I used this 'hack' "Upload More Picture" which allows to upload 4 pics at a time. Unfortuantelly only the thumbnail of the first picture is sharp, the other three are quite bad!

I have added in the admin panel for 'Command line options for ImageMagick' the value '-sharpen 1.6' which works quite well, but only for the first picture!

John, I have to upload hundreds of pictures and well it looks like I have to do all again, picture by picture as the thumnails for pic 2 to 4 are not good!
Is there any possibility to extend to ten pictures at a time AND to have for pic 2 to 9 the 'Command line options for ImageMagick' working like for the first pic?
It would save me plenty hours of work!

I have installed a few weeks ago xcgal as the new module for the picture section on heathernova.net. I am still trying to get familiar with it, therfore haven't yet uploaded hundreds of pictures.
What I haven't yet found is, to move an Album to another Category! I need this function as the more pictures are uploaded, they need to be restructured.
Any idea how to move an album from one category to another?

Travis, there is no time pressure and thank you so much working on it. To know somebody is working on it is very much a relief, as i cannot do myself.
Well try to visit a Heather Nova concert in fall and we can meet. I am planning visit all her concerts of course.

Most requested is the "last login" search option. Please have that in mind

Who has the knowledge to do that and is willing to do? I would sponsor it with 20 Euro or so, bt I know that is not enough for the work, but if everyone donates maybe for the person who implements ...

I was thinking more like merging membership with members module and let the admin choose what fields to display/search.

I´m still here looking for a good host and preparing for a migration but I´ll be back to the fight as soon as I raised my self from the floor. Thanks.

there is another members module?
Ther was this old memberlist which was pretty much the same as 'find users' but is not working anymore. So membership with most of the features from 'find users' and making it customizable on the admin panel would be wonderful. I could make a specification of the most important fields and sort options, could even ask the users in the forums what they miss on membership right now compared to 'memberlist' from the past.

deleting and editing is allowed within 60 minutes on heathernova.net. It is not an issue actually as the fans of Heather Nova are very friendly and respectful.

Does this hack still work with the latest XOOPS 2.0.x Release? An outbox would be very much appreciated. XOOPS unfortunatelly only provide an Inbox.
