Can anyone give me any insite into this module please?

Isnt it supposed to work like myspace user pages?

The only editor that seems to do anything is the DHTML
i installed xoopseditors but they still do not work, do i need to download them individually from somewhere?(if yes could someone please tell me where to get them?)

What i want users to be able to do is paste in myspace template html so they can use the free page designs available for myspace, i have tried this but it does'nt seem to work with the DHTML editor, could someone please help, im kinda stuck on this

Thanks Guys

Hi i did a little more digging on this issue and also contacted my host.

For the following error i got them to increase the memory in the php.ini

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted

This did not fix this error, it seems when you try to back up the db for the first time in gzip it works perfect as you add modules and back up again it fails and gives a memory error(mabey it cant delete the original db files before it replaces them?)If you change this to back up to sql it works perfect, so mabey the back module is buggy in gzip mode?

The only problem i can'nt fix is all the errors in Xoopsinfo/systeminfo tab

Warning: is_executable() [function.is-executable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/sbin/mount) is not within the allowed path(s):

My host stated the following
open_basedir is installed on your server. it blocks scripts if they try to open files outside of their accounts. It is security patch and we can't disable it on a shared server

Has anyone else got the same problem? and has anyone found a solution for this? a patch or something?

Everything works on the site its just the errors in Xoopsinfo/systeminfo that worries me incase it causes issues later on down the track.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

could someone please help me as to why im getting error's from both the XOOPS info and backup modules?

I am using XOOPS 2.0.18.1

When i set up the XOOPS platform i installed backup and XOOPS info moduels i tested them and they both worked fine.

Now when i goto XOOPS info and then the system info tab i get errors of the following

Warning: is_executable() [function.is-executable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/sbin/mount) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/myhost:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/myhost/public_html/mysite/phpsysinfo/includes/common_functions.php on line 137

common_functions.php 158 find_program(df) program not found on the machine
common_functions.php 158 find_program(mount) program not found on the machine

All the other tabs in the XOOPS info work fine just not the system info

Also when i goto the backup module and try and Backup database i get this error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10385246 bytes) in /home/smyhost/public_html/mysite/modules/backup/admin/backup.php on line 131

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in file /modules/backup/admin/backup.php line 157

Have some files become corrupt? it worked fine the last time i used it, there seems to be a very similar error in both the XOOPS info and back up modules and im not sure how to fix this, has anyone got any idea whats causing this?

If someone could help me with this i would very much appreciate it.

Thanks

Protector Module Mainfile Settings Problem

Hi All,
i have finally managed to install the protector moduel in admin after adding the following settings to the mainfile.php

// XOOPS Physical Path
// Physical path to your main XOOPS directory WITHOUT trailing slash
// Example: define('XOOPS_ROOT_PATH', '/home/myhost/public_html/trusted_folder');
define('XOOPS_TRUST_PATH', '/home/myhost/public_html/trusted_folder');

The problem im having is editing the the final part of the mainfile.php

define('XOOPS_GROUP_ADMIN', '1');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_USERS', '2');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_ANONYMOUS', '3');

foreach ( array('GLOBALS', '_SESSION', 'HTTP_SESSION_VARS', '_GET', 'HTTP_GET_VARS', '_POST', 'HTTP_POST_VARS', '_COOKIE', 'HTTP_COOKIE_VARS', '_REQUEST', '_SERVER', 'HTTP_SERVER_VARS', '_ENV', 'HTTP_ENV_VARS', '_FILES', 'HTTP_POST_FILES', 'xoopsDB', 'xoopsUser', 'xoopsUserId', 'xoopsUserGroups', 'xoopsUserIsAdmin', 'xoopsConfig', 'xoopsOption', 'xoopsModule', 'xoopsModuleConfig', 'xoopsRequestUri') as $bad_global ) {
if ( isset( $_REQUEST[$bad_global] ) ) {
header( 'Location: '.XOOPS_URL.'/' );
exit();
}
}
if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon']) && XOOPS_ROOT_PATH != '') {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}
}
?>

Would someone please be good enough to paste the exact code that i would need to put in this part of the mainfile?(Please!)

I have tried editing it several times by adding the following code but im not sure if i am leaving something out because i get constant errors if i add the following.
define('XOOPS_GROUP_ADMIN', '1');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_USERS', '2');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_ANONYMOUS', '3');

<span style="color: #ff0000;">include( XOOPS_TRUST_PATH . '/modules/protector/include/precheck.inc.php' ) ;</span>
if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon']) <span style="color: #0000ff;">&& XOOPS_ROOT_PATH != ''</span> ) {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}
<span style="color: #ff0000;">include( XOOPS_TRUST_PATH . '/modules/protector/include/postcheck.inc.php' ) ;</span>

If someone could help me with this i would be very greatful

Thanks
