A website I run which uses IPB only has a very popular games area using IBProArcade, which has a games area, a casino area, and an Attack game members can play (which is where you use your earnings from the casino - to buy healing potions etc). I have searched everywhere for a way to bring IBProArcade to XOOPS --- the closes thing I could find was a module someone was working on in 2004 (http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?arcade) but it seems to have died a natural death.

I would love to get a module like this to add to XOOPS 2.3.3 which could play the IBProArcade arcade and casino games and the Attack game.

Any of the developers out there up for the challenge? I'd be your number 1 supporter!

My sites are also hosted at SurpassHosting and I can totally recommend them. Must make sure to ask for that discount too - thanks! If you change to Surpass you will not be disappointed - heaps of space, traffic, etc at an excellent price; and the support staff are extremely helpful.

How can I mark all posts as read, either forum-wide or site-wide?

To be honest, I'd be looking at changing hosting providers as it appears the attack happened on their server. Their security can't be that great.

Uninstall a module from phpmyadmin? As far as I know, phpmyadmin is to interact with the database directly, not uninstall modules. All modules should be uninstalled by first deactivating, then uninstalling through the XOOPS administration menu. Then delete the files from your server using FTP or file manager.

You could turn on automatic template recompilations in System -> Preferences -> General Settings -> Check Templates for Modifications, which should show you the changes instantly by refreshing. Note that this shouldn't be left on however, it's just to use when you're updating something and want to see the effect right away. Hope that helps.

Would anybody know which files to edit to change the presentation layout in xhld? I want to get rid of the date & time that shows and the RSS feed name that shows to the right of each headline. All I basically want is the headline and the story.

SOLVED: It's always the way ... spend hours looking for the problem, then post for help and find the answer a short while later. Doh!

For some reason the theme has a favicon.ico and favicon.png, which I changed, but there is also a icon.png file which serves as the favicon! I don't understand why it was done that way ... but that's the solution. Change the icon.png file as well, and it all works perfectly.
