Oh! Thanks for the quick reply. I had already done that. I was thinking there was some other nifty little thing in the news module .

What do I have to do to have a welcome message like the block "Welcome to XOOPS official website!" on XOOPS site? I looked in everything under news but i did not find any way of doing that. I know that "News" module is set to display when the site is opened but I could not find anything in News . Is it customization or is available in standard install
