I've changed my theme while my site is closed for maintenance and the start page of the new theme wont let me log in !!!

I am not sure if this is the right place, but I am a newbie!
I’ve noticed that all blocks in a given theme have the same design; for example all left blocks look the same. What I want is to create a custom block that is different from the rest, how can I do this?
