theres no space before the trailing slash.. FF may see this as an invalid location.

heres the way it should be

when i save your stylesheet to my desktop and use my add user style plugin... it shows up fine, so i'm thinking this is your problem.

also, this jazz about not being able to edit the default theme... not so my friend.. its just html and css... if you are sweet enough you can make it dance for you.

BOL

Alright, so I tried that and I'm still getting the same error on Mozilla (with it not pulling the style sheet and when I look up on the view source it shows the space and it is properly pointing to where the style sheet is located). Could there be some other thing that I did wrong during my install that would be causing this? (Being as this has never worked on mozilla, even when I first performed the install).

I have been able to get the css stuff solved (in terms of getting the edits to show up in IE thanks to you guys pointing out the whole changing in your preference to turn that one portion on).

You CANNOT EDIT the DEFAULT THEME. You must clone it first.

Aren't you talking about cloning the TEMPLATE, not the theme? I think the question being asked is in regards to the theme.

Bullsback, I don't know why Firefox doesn't acknowledge your theme/css. That's strange, and I haven't experienced it.

To see your changes to a theme, (under normal circumstances), you need to turn on modifications to YES in admin preferences. Clear your templates_c via ftp or whatever, and clear your browser's cache. You should be able to see your changes.

I've done that, but I'm still not seeing any of the changes I make to the stylesheet (I can see the changes I make to theme.php though).

Maybe I can't edit the stylesheet of a default skin (as the poster above indicated) so that could be the case.

That still wouldn't explain why the heck I can't get any theme I have to pick up the stylesheet on mozilla.

I also looked in the mainfile.php folder and everything appears to be pointing to the right spot...ie soxtalk.com/xoops (with no backslash after the xoops).

www.soxtalk.com/xoops is the site I'm referring to. I appreciate everyones help though and hopefully someone knows what the hell I'm doing wrong, haha (cause I'm ready to throw my freaking computer out the #OOPS# window).

Okay, so I'm already having problems getting firefox to pick up any style sheets (using default them and I've tried other themes and the same problem arises with either of them).

On top of that I'm trying to make changes to the style.css inside the default theme section and no matter what changes I make, they just flat out do not get picked up when I go to my site (say I want to change the color of the left block or make the right block wider...nothing).

I'm guessing this problem ties to the problem I'm having with firefox so I was curious to see if anyone has any freaking clue why this is the case (I also tried reuploading the theme to see if that would make a difference...but nothing).

I checked, both files are in there and just in case I opened them and took a look and the line you were mentioning was there as well.

I have this same error on all theme's I have.

I get the same type of error for any theme I try to use.

Not that I know of. Is there a way to bring it back to default if I did (I know I Didn't, but i have one other person who works on the site with me who could have...that said I have had this problem ever since I made the installation).

I am running XOOPS 2.0.16 and my site looks completely hideous in FireFox but normal in Internet Explorer 7. I am running the most up to date versions of Mozilla and IE and have had this error since I installed XOOPS (I have yet to put my site live to the public).

My site is www.soxtalk.com/xoops

Is there a patch or something to fix this (I tried searching but wasn't able to come up with anything).

Thanks

I have a website and we have news content as well as a podcast and I think it would be awesome if there was a module out there that would auto create a podcast feed and allow us there to be a specific block with a flash player in it and all that jazz (I tried searching for one and couldn't find it).

Hopefully someone is working on one or there is one out there :)
