What should the permissions be...? Also, the site loads very slowly! Is this because of the permissions as well?

Accessing a demo/beta of my website externally, things like graphics, font specs, template layout, do not load properly.

It just doesnt look the same as when I access it from internal location.

Also, when I try to log on from outside our internal network, it wont work.

Any ideas on what I am missing..? Thanks!

changing default xg2.1 images in GAllery

I changed the default 'galleryLogo.gif' to something I want/made.

The page seems to have coded the image size/constraints and this deforms the image I made.

I am having trouble finding the file that is used control this image/size, so I can change it.

ANY IDEAS...? Thanks!

File Management - Integrate with Samba...

Here is a request.

How about a module that uses/integrates with Samba for File Management and Sharing internally?

Right now I use Invision File Management, and have tried some others. The problems with these are:
1. They use FTP! Major security problem for me, even if this module is accesable internally only.
2. They may require hacks to the php.ini that create security risks


If there was a module similar to this that uses the smb.conf and Samba in general to provide file management and sharing it would be a huge hit!

Problem With Gallery2 - xg2.1

I get the following errors when trying to use. I had not errors during setup/install.... Any ideas?

XG2 did not return a success status. Here is the error message from G2:

Yes - I did that, but still I get blank pages.

Even as admin. I can get to the config pages though and do setup.

Any ideas...?

I have both properly installed and can configure, etc..

But when I test them out as a suer I just get BLANK PAGES.

I am not sure, but perhaps a permission was missed in .htaccess or in the MySQL DB..?

Any help would be Great!

Does anyone know if there is a module to integrate XOOPS with Samba, so we can use it as a file sharing and document resource?
