I did several searches, but couldn't find anything - can't imagine this is too tough, but how can I change the text for the user activation email that gets sent out to new members?

Thanks!

Hi there - using the News module, I'd like to change the title of the form on submit.php from "Submit News" to "Submit Story" - it's causing some confusion for my users. Can anybody tell me what file I can find the actual form in to make these changes?

Thanks!!!!!

Help! Black border around image in custom block?

Driving me nuts - I'm trying to embed, via HTML, a simple image into a custom block which I'm placing on my top page. No matter what I do, the image appears with a 1px black border around it. What am I missing here?

My latest incarnation tried a table to no avail -

<table width="32%" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td><a href="#"><img src="http://www.mysite.com/my_images/my_image.gif" width="446" height="77" border="0" /></a></td>
</tr>
</table>

Any advice or assistance is really really appreciated!!!!

Help! Users can't submit through site...

I'm using the News module (v.1.44) and the Extcal module (v.2) with XOOPS v. 2.0.15 (fresh install). I'm sure this is something easy and stupid, but my searches yielded nothing useful, so I'm hoping somebody can help - I simply don't have any kind of "submit" interaction available so that registered users can submit their own news or create their own calendar entries.

In System Admin>Groups, I have all System Admin rights unchecked, All Module Admin rights unchecked, and all Module Access rights checked. If I do check the Mod. admin rights, users are able to edit existing items, but not create new ones (I don't want them to be able to edit existing, and do to create new ones).

In News>Permissions, I have Submit Permissions all checked for Registered Users and Webmasters, as well as Approve Permissions and View.

In Extcal>Permissions, I have View and Submit permissions all checked for Webmasters and Registered Users.

Incidentally, I'm unable as the webmaster to add events or news through the blocks as well - I have to go through the admin area. Please help! I'm a complete and utter newbie so please talk to me like I'm the village idiot...

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
