Hello,

I need some help from XOOPS members...

I have installed XOOPS on my webpage and made the News module be the start page, but the thing I want to be changed is this:
when I tipe my domain name it automaticly appears domain.com/modules/news/ , is there any way to make it not to be shown the last part (/modules/news/), so there should be shown only the domain name.

ex:http://www.domain.com
and nothttp:///wwww.domain.com/modules/news/

Is it possible to do this. If possible please explain to me what should I change in order to make this work.

hello,

I have one request for the News module.

When I post news on this module I sometimes need to use some html code together with the text I post but the problem is that I cannot use it because the form reads it as text not as an html code (probebaly the HTML code is not enabled)

Is it possible to make it read as html. as it is on the blocks wher we choose HTML. When use this same codes at the XOOPS blocks they read it as html and it is not a problem there.

Is it possible to make the Post/Edit News form possible to read the html text as it is on the Blocks.

The code I want to use on News and it takes it as text is this one:

Is it possible to make something on News in order to make it read this codes not as text but as codes in order to work it. (probably HTML should be enabled but I don't know how)

or if anyone has any idea how to integrate this video player (JW Media Player) with News module on xoops.

It would be great if it is integrated with News, and when you need to post text and show an video with that text to be able to put it throught this player

hello,

I use News module (version 1.44), it's a great module, I lik it.

But I have one request for this module.

When I post news on my web sometimes I need to use JavaScript but It never allows javascript, I am not sure if it is disabled by default or something else. I know it works with java if I put it directly at the .php page but I need to put it directly when I post the module together with the other text.

For instanse sometimes I need to post this code in order to play the video (it is java code) but I cannot play it.

It works when I test it locally, but doesnt when I put post it with the news module:

Maybe java is disabled by default. Is there any possibility to enable it (javascript) in order to read java (or the video player in this case).

hello,

I user this module and it is really fantastic. Thank for sharing it with us, it's a great work.

I have one request about the look of the module.

If it is possible I would like to make it the index page of the module (it means where the categories/albums appear to make it possible to have two or three coloums not only one coloum with the categories/albums, becuase I have made lots of categries/albums and when I open the it it is very long vertically (I am not sure if I am clear).

Is it possible to make it something like this:

Coloum 1 ...................................| Coloum 2
Album name - number of photos ....| Album name - number of photos

Coloum 3 ...................................| Coloum 4
Album name - number of photos ....| Album name - number of photos

If it is possible please tell me how to do it,

hello,

I have problems when I want to send newsletter to my registred users.

I tried to send through Mail Users but the newletter is not send to their emails.

I installed the module EvenNews in order to send newsletter easier but the registred users does not recive the newsletter to their emails, the newsletter is only send as a private message.

They are registred and they have choosed the option to recive emails from administrators and moderators but still cannot recive newsletter.

What can be the problem, can someone help me please?

Can it be the mail server (badly configured) or something else.

Note: the emails send through the contact form of XOOPS is properly send to my email.

If anyone could help, I would be thankful

theme trouble (appear error)

Hello,

The theme I use with my XOOPS site looks good, but this theme shows some porblems with the modules installes.

First, On the module News when I want to edit and article post and when I click over Image to add the image link the I cannot open this botton (done, but with erros) this message appears at the bottom of internet explorer.

I also installed the Yogurt Socila Netork Module and it does not shows as it should.

When I change the theme on my web all these problems disappear and I can edit the news (image) and the Yogurt Social Networks opens fine.

Can you please suggest me how to solve this problem from this theme... because I like this theme and I dont want to change it. The theme is 4thefort.

I would also send the theme to your (privately) in order to check it if you could do something to fix these problems.

Hello,

Is it possible to do the horizontal random thumb video block to be displayed with the title of the random clip which would be displayed above the thumb photo of the clip... as it is on the vertical random thumb video block.

So I need it to be dispaled the same as it is on vertical random thumb video block but in horizonal row.

Do I need to change something on PHP code or on the template files?

Please tell me, I need it.

1. How can do it, the categories and subcategories to be displayed by alphbetic order... what should I add at the code.
