Module Name and Version

SmartFAQ 1.08 final

Short description
Quote:
The SmartFAQ module for XOOPS adds advanced 'Frequently Asked Questions' capabilities to your site.

Detailed description

Quote:

Using the administration interface, the administrator can create categories (and sub-categories), Q&As (questions and answers), and open questions. Permission to view categories is group-based.

Open questions can be answered either through the administrative interface or through the user interface. When Open questions exist, 'Open Questions' appears as a sub-menu item under 'SmartFAQ' (or whatever you change it to).

As you might expect, answers can include XOOPS tags, HTML, images, allowing for high-quality, clearly illustrated answers to your, well, frequently asked questions.

On the user side, Q&As can be 'printer-friendly' formatted (easily customize with your own logo) or e-mailed. The user-submitted open question feature is unique because on most sites, you wonder where the questions came from (mostly made up by the site's owner). Q&A authors can edit or delete their own submissions.

For each Q&A, you may include 'How do I...' and 'Did you know...' questions with links to the Q&A. When you enable the 'Did you know...' and 'How do I...' blocks, these items will appear randomly. It's also possible to contextually link these items to specific modules or URLs.

As a nice plus, Q&As can be displayed on your site with the Marquee XOOPS module.

Can anyone tell me what the recommended path from 2.0.13.2 to the most recent release of XOOPS is -- what exactly to I need to download/install. Your assistance is appreciated.
