Hi ghia,

Yes I have added the MIME type to the allow MIME.

I have also tryed the other download module (wfdownloads) and the same issue comes up.

I have cheked the allowed MIME types and even compressed the file to .rar witch I am sure is in the allowed MIME types.

Very strange this.

Hi,

I have PDdownloads on my page and want to make some downloads available to the community.

I have tried with normal MIME types i.e. .jpg/.gif aso. and it works great.

Then I tried to upload an .exe file and got this errormessage;

"MIME type not allowed: application/octet-stream"

The filesize are well under the limit and I have enabled the .exe files in allowed MIME types in the adminsection.

Anyone have a clue what I can do to solve this?

Clan theme?

Hi,

I have been looking for a clan theme for some time now, found a few.

Im looking for a darkgrey/black background with left/center/right coloumns. The body schould be like 80% of the site.

To give you an idea have a look at:

tnx guys,

I have tryed the 1.5 but I cant get the messages to show?

It looks nice and everything, I changed it to 0=hide and corrected the accesslevel in both main and blocks...still its not showing the messages...?

It isn't the Theme because I tryed it with default theme aswell...

Hi,
I have installed the PD-Download modul.

I can't upload files to "PD-Downloads/" because the folder is in safe mode.

I have tried to change the CHMOD to "write" but it resets to safe mode when trying to upload.
I use a remote host and i use Smartftp.

Hello,
Im new to xoops.

Must say it looks the best and easiest engine I have ever tryed so far.

I have tried neocrome(seditio), mambo, PHP Nuke. They are all timeconsuming and have a complex way to add plugins. They also need upgrade to the db on a manual basis mostly.

So I thought I would try xoops. VERY easy module installation indeed! :)

I have installed XOOPS but in some way I messed up the path I think.
My web:http://www.baldysweb.com. When I use this adress I get a folder list like: baldysweb.com
htdocs
then to access my site i need to click the "htdocs" folder.

I uploded the unzipped folder "htdocs" via ftp to the "baldysweb.com" folder on my remote host.

Any ideas?

Any feedback would be most welcome.
