Displaying Modules Before The Blocks In Homepage

Okay this may seem like a simple question, but it is always the easy stuff that stumps you.

I have my News module on my homepage and I noticed that it listed under two blocks I want on the bottom.

I tried playing around with the weight positioning, and still cant figure it out.

Is there a way to have my News Module positioned so that it comes before certain blocks and after certain blocks?

What I want to try to achieve is have the News module come before my Recent Articles and Recent Tutorials Blocks.

Biteronboard No worries, if all goes well, I will release several other themes.

I want to be able to contribute to the XOOPS community and offer my themes, mods and knowledge

I read over the FAQs already, one of the first things I did before posting my question. Just was not sure if the steps would be the same or different since it was a template for something else first.

Bassman: I was going to attempt to port it over myself, as I would like to learn the inner working of XOOPS and how it works.

I am one of the co-arthors of the theme, and besides I am using it for my personal use, not trying to distribute it.

Okay let me clarify, how about some decent free or paid themes that are not reprocessed themes of Template Monster/My Template Storage and the likes..

What I am trying to do is I have a heavily modified phpBB forum, and I want to bring the mods I have over to XOOPS to use with the phpBB module that is out there for Xoops.

Otherwise if I switch to XOOPS and do not have the ability to port over my mods, my site will be dumbed down dramatically and lose alot of its functionailty. As the mods I have on my site is related to the type of site I have.

Now do not get me wrong, I can do the work myself, but I guess I am trying to find out what exactly has to change and what I would have to do to make my phpBB mods work with the any of the phpBB modules for Xoops.

I want to use a theme I am using on my Nuke site for Xoops, because there is no real decent themes (atleast none that I have seen) for Xoops. SO my question is how hard is it to convert a theme from Nuke or phpbb to work with Xoops?

Whats the difference between Newbb, the phpbb module made by bbpixel and the other forum modules?

Which would you say is the best?

Is there any other phpbb based forum modules?
