Hello,

I am looking for a simple module which just display the number of registered users of the site. The 'Who's online' module just show who are online and is not what I need. Thanks.

So, up to now, what is the best stats module? It is important for me to have a module to record where are the visitors from.

When I used Joomla CMS, I found using statistics module causes MySQL database expand quickly, since every clicking one the site writes to database.

Now I plan to use i-stats or xoops-stats for my XOOPS site. My question is: will these stats module also 'blow up' database?

Someone in Chinese XOOPS community said that the design of i-stats module has inherent bug. Is that true? Anyone using i-stats has any problem?

If I have a language in iso-8859-1 or gb2312, and I want to convert it to utf-8, what's the necessary steps to do this?

I know I need to modify the global.php of that language with setting charset=utf-8, but is this sufficient?

Hello all,

I am a newbie of Xoops. I hope to install a website based on utf-8. I have several questions:

(1) The v2.2.3 in the download area is based on UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1? How can I realize UTF-8?

(2) The forum is a module of xoops, or an integrated 3rd forum code (such as SMF, phpBB)?
