I agree. 2.2.3 is very silly. There is no way through the admin interface to delete an inactive user?????????? There is no way to active a user that is inactive without sending mail??????????

The permissions are not at all easy to use. 2.0.13 admin features were designed a whole lot better.

I have no problem with using 2.0.13 but don't put on the front page 2.2.3 as the latest version. To me it's quite incomplete in a lot of ways. I'm not a PHP programmer. This is wasting a lot of my time.

So again this begs the question. How to I delete an inactive user!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question for the mods/devs or anyone kind enough to answer my question. I'm interested in using XOOPS for a portal I'm developing and wondered how realistic is it to dev/test the site on Windows XP running Apache 2.0, PHP5 and MySQL 4.1 and then transfering the site to a Linux hosted system?

I'm quite the rookie with portal software and am running into several installation problems. MySQL service won't start with Error:0 but I think I've solved that problem. I'm reading XOOPS is sensative to PHP/MySQL version based on a post I found in these forums. I'll downgrade the PHP/MySQL versions in a hope to get the software working, however is this worth my time or should I dev/test the software on the host?
