Xpress, strange problem with themes and charset

Hi, i need to display special letters like àèò etc, for this purpose , i founded that ISO it's the better charset.
With default theme, xpress works fine.

but

if i upload a theme from this site (http://www.blogstheme.com), charset problem still appear.
This is really strange, because the header charset function is set in the same way of the default template .

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type'); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset'); ?>" />


So, why the charset works fine with default theme and not with the other? Any suggestion it's appreciated

Problem with Wordpress 202 module (block disappeared)

Hi,
i m' using XOOPS 2.0.16 with Wordpress 2.02 module ; i was wondering to make a modify, so i edited the file wp_posts.php (adding a <br />) .

Uploading the file and refreshing the module i saw that the block "Recent posts with content" was disappeared.

So i took the backup version of wp_posts.php and uploaded it, in order to put the system in the same situation it was before.

I refreshed the module again but the block is still missing!
What's happened? what can i do to have it back ?

A categories block for Addresses

Hi,
i'm using the Addresses module ; i would like to have a block just for categories, so users can navigate through ; actually, Addresses offers only "new links" block and "most viewed" block . How can i realize a block that displays categories ? Thanks

How to show Random Quote Module into a sub page or (blank) module

Hi,
i would like the random quote to be opened not into my homepage, but into a sub page ; i tried making it visible only into a specific module (like Content), but if i do so, every time i open another page of Content, i see the quote.

How can i set the Random Quote to be seen alone into my site? I was wondering if it's possible to create a "blank" module where to display it. But i dont know how.
However, any solution is really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, i need to create a referer system working this way :
-i give a personal link to every user
-i monitorize access from that particolar link.

In other words, a system to find out the user that brings to me more traffic.

How could i arrange this in XOOPS ? is there any module doing this? thanks

Hi,
I'm using XOOPS 2.0.15 and i cant' find even a chat working ; i tried chiefbuz, chat mx, chat flash, xoopspop chat... no one works!
What could be the problem? thanks for helping

Hi,
I would like to send an email to my users email address periodically . How can i set XOOPS to mail users automatically every X days? is there any module that could help ?

Change debaser presets

Hi, i'm having a problem with Debaser ; i upload videos, but the module always think it's an mp3 , so it loads videos as music with real player (and the video doesn't work).
To fix this i need everytime to open debaser admin, then edit the file and set it as a video. how could i fix this?
