On the XOOPSwiki site,http://www.xoopswiki.org/wiki/index.php?title=Starting_a_New_XOOPS_Site I need help with Day 5. What exactly does it mean to type inhttp://localhost? What is it talking about. I have followed all of the directions there, and am stuck on this. Can anyone help me figure out what this means?

Hey there. Well, I'm trying to make a site with XOOPS. I have no idea where to begin. So let me explain what I did.

I registered for a free hosting site. They offered full FTP support. So I decided to register with them (since I know that XOOPS would require me to install the folder via the FTP)

Well, once I uploaded the entire folder to my FTP account and went on my site... it did not have an XOOPS installation or anything. It would just say '403 Forbidden' and when I typed in my URL/xoops it still wouldn't work. What did I do wrong? And how can I install XOOPS properly? Help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully you can explain this to me in a noobie mannor, since I'm completely new with this program.

I've tried. Still nothing I found at this moment. Perhaps it may be the theme? Yes I am an admin or webmaster. I really want this site to work soon. Any other suggestions? Any yes, I have checked the groups. All is normal. Please help! I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

I guess you can call me an absolute noob in XOOPS but when I registered the main menu is blank. Just black. Here is the Link so you can better understand. I'm the admin for the site however I can't find how to change the main menu. I'm in desperate help. If someone could respond immeadiatly I will be grateful. Thank you!
