No, i don't see any admin menu. If i try to go to the admin page after logging in it tells me i don't have permissions.

Hi...I'm having a problem with the login...After going to user.php and logging in i get a the message saying "Thank you for logging in, Administrator" and takes me to the page i want to go to but never show's me the edit button...somehow the logon seems to be getting lost. Please help...this is urgent.
