Dear Xoopsers,

The original location for uploading the photos is:
/public_html/xoops/modules/xcgal/albums

How can I change it to:
/public_html/albums

This can makes backup works more easily! Note that photos are GIANT stuffs to handle!

On the other hand, is it possible to refer to webspace of other host? Can this be done through Gmail File System(GmailFS)?

It should the right answer to this problem!
I was also had this problem, after changing it to GD2 in the preference setting of xcGallery, it is corrected.

Besides, the reasons for the display of debug information is that XOOPS is in default being set to debug mode, just go to general preference of the administrator module, check that about in the middle of the page, there is an option to turn off the debug mode <-- do it and you'll not see the debug information.

Dear all,

As titled, after I have installed the xcgallery 1.1 on my XOOPS 2.0, created the Galleries and want to add albums to one of galleries by clicking "xcGallery" menu item, the following error displayed:

You don't have permission to access /~mbaaa/html/modules/xcgal/ on this server.

So I cannot create a new album and add photos to it.

Can anyone know what's going on?

However, it's interesting that when I have enabled the block "gallery categories" to be visible, click to go inside it, then "creat/order albums" icon can be displayed and hence I can do what I want -- i.e create a new album and the add photos to it.

Nevertheless, when I try to click on teh menu item "xcGallery", the same error persist!


If you know what's happening, pls. tell.
