I copied all the 2.2 files to my server as I have done for the other upgrades. Then I ran the xoopsupdate.php and the result is:

I clicked the reload button a few times as instructed in the docs, but nothing changes.

Is this recoverable or is this a restore and think about if I want to bother trying again?

Sorry if this counts as a double post.

While I am working on problems with the upgrades, I was wondering if it is possible to do a new full install of 2.2 and then tie it to the database currently in use (with version 2.0.5). I am guessing no, but thought I would ask.

ok, I read the upgrade part of the FAQ. the 2.0.5 - 2.0.6 patch does not have any instructions included with it.

What am I missing. I am rolling back the upgrade right now. what do I do differently on the next try.

Just wondering what the best upgrade route is from 2.0.5 to 2.2.2. Do I need to use all the incremental upgrades or is there a more direct route using a full core install package?
