Hey Xoopsers! I got it finally to work, but had to use a work around... I used an IFRAME and a php library that generates the maps...
http://bgrealestate.knitshop.co.uk/fastoffers/html/

I suspect the problem was with the timing of the JS downloads and the attempt of IE to execute and render before the code was fully downloaded...

Good luck!

many people are looking for a module with this features

Hi Cerbero!

Nifty site!

The module is available to use, as you would expect it is GPL... but it is not ready for the world, if you know what I mean... this current version is almost where I want it for commercial release i.e. take and run, but if I release the beast in its current form it will be a mess. If you wanted to use it for a client, I can make it work a clock... if you want a demo let me know.

Will post more informaton about the module very soon... have to get over the requirements of the current site... I have huge plans for this mod. Watch this space!

Hi Sorry for the late post...

Yes the idea is to integrate the Google Maps with the module and I have been working on the extension for that... and indeed if you just use the header google maps will display with no problem. I will post a link shortly.

Sorry for the confusion with the beta site... seems that I had changed the JS backend and the map had stopped showing for a few days, I have fixed now, the thing is that the first time you get to the site it seems that the map does not show but if you reload it will show. Only it will popup a debug window with the XML base.

The module is searchable but just the main table at the moment, working on it to fix. Right now adding a filtering feature for the estate list.

I noticed that when the front end renders a custom block it puts the context in
<field> </field>
Any idea anyone if that may be the problem?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use any of the WYSIWYG editor in other browsers than Internet Explorer, I have not been able to do that so far...

Thank you!

Dear Xoopers!

I have recently uncovered a problem trying to integrate Google maps into a custom block on my website... The implmentation works fine when the site is viewed with FireFox but fails if you try to view it with Internet Explorer...

It seems that the Explorer fails the moment the map class is initiated... in the customised java script (the one I use to display the map) at function:
var map = new GMap(document.getElementById("map"));

I have also tried to load the code as en external JS file, but to no avail... HELP please...

The same java script code works fine if stand alone in an html...

Any ideas?

Please see XOOPS test (fails IE):
http://www.bgrealestate.knitshop.co.uk/fastoffers/html/
same code in a plain HTML page (works fine):

PS> IF you are interested in the Real Estate Module please let me know.

Dear All!

XOOPS V2.0.10 - I am experiencing probmlems with the recovery of lost user passwords.

I receive email 1 but the system does not seem to reset the user password (as the code suggests) and does not send the second email (seems that it does not recognise either the email address or the key sent via the confirmation URL)

Does anyone know/have noticed this?

Thank you!

Vladimir
