I'm brand new to XOOPS (and CMS), please be patient.

Just installed XOOPS and am playing with five themes (a testament that anyone can load and use Xoops).

I'm now very confused on "weight" and defaults in a theme.

I assume "weight" applies only to blocks or to modules, but not to blocks AND modules (I've read the modules order is controlled in the themes html). Although I've assigned different weights as follows: 2 custom blocks(call them A) (Left Center and Right Center) are each "50," a custom block(B) in center is "25" and AMS Spotlight(C) is 75, the display order is different between x2t and phpkaox and neither follow their respective "weight."
x2t
A (weight "50")
B ("25")
C ("75")

pphkaox
B ("25")
C ("75")
A ("50")

As an aside, in Firefox, the text in my custom blocks is left aligned. However using IE6 with the phpkaox and 4whitebusiness theme, the text is center aligned (7 dana, bcool and x2t remain left). Is this "normal?"

And here I thought the installation was going to be the hard part

I tried this message once before and hoping it doesn't cross post-if so, my apologies
