I have the same problem. I downloaded the 2.2 RC package, installed it, and set up the admin account during the install. It shows the admin as having joined on 12/31/1969, not 7/15/2005, which is when I did the install and set up her account.
It shows up this way, both when I'm logged in, and when I view the page as a guest.
